| I was successfully able to change the sql server name and instance name from appteam2 to appteam30. I did a select @@servername and saw that it was successful. I rebooted the server many times. However, looking in the "Security folder" I see these three logins:APPTEAM2\SQLServer2005MSFTEUser$APPTEAM2$MSSQLSERVERAPPTEAM2\SQLServer2005MSSQLUser$APPTEAM2$MSSQLSERVERAPPTEAM2\SQLServer2005SQLAgentUser$APPTEAM2$MSSQLSERVERAs you can see, they still say "Appteam2" the old server name. How can I change them to have the new servername "appteam30"?Thanks |

| These are groups crated during installtion and has SQl Server startup accounts and appropriate permissions needed. If there is no compelling reason to change these, I would let them be as they are. |
