I was successfully able to change the sql server name and instance name from appteam2 to appteam30. I did a select @@servername and saw that it was successful. I rebooted the server many times. However, looking in the "Security folder" I see these three logins:

APPTEAM2\SQLServer2005MSFTEUser$APPTEAM2$MSSQLSERVER
APPTEAM2\SQLServer2005MSSQLUser$APPTEAM2$MSSQLSERVER
APPTEAM2\SQLServer2005SQLAgentUser$APPTEAM2$MSSQLSERVER

As you can see, they still say "Appteam2" the old server name. How can I change them to have the new servername "appteam30"?

Thanks

These are groups crated during installtion and has SQl Server startup accounts and appropriate permissions needed. If there is no compelling reason to change these, I would let them be as they are.
