Is it possible to Add New Chart Area in Reporting Services 2005 similar to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc627527.aspxI have results for Year 1 and Year 2. At the moment 2 different charts being created. I've done this by adding the Year into "Series Groups" and put day_field into Expression and Year into Parent Group. So I have 2 different charts - one for the each year, each chart has 5 lines for Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri. I'd like the a single chart with an upper and lower section for each year so the values can be more easily viewed. The finished report will have a lot of charts so this would group them together better for comparison between years.I've tried:"Right-click anywhere on the chart and select Add New Chart Area"as link says, but I can not see this option. |

Seems like you dont have this feature until sql 2008.We had a similar requirement previuosly and had to use third party control for adding more than one chart area. |

Pity. Is it possible to get a similar look with-out add-ins?Do you know is it possible to group the charts by series group. At the minute I have 3 charts each showing twice for the 2 years. At the moment order is:Year1 chart1, Year1 chart2, Year1, chart3, Year2 chart1, Year2 chart2, Year2, chart3I would like:Year1 chart1, Year2 chart1, Year1, chart2, Year2 chart2, Year1 chart3, Year2, chart3 |
