| Dear, I am new to SQL. Right now the problem is that i have a machine in which SQL Server 2000 is installed, but i don't have the password for windows login. That machine is not in domain, but i have the password for SQL. Can u suggest me how can i take backup of that sql server.RegardsGusain |

| If the password you have is linked to a sql server login that has sufficient permissions to backup ,then simply logon and backup. You can do this either through a the Enterprise Manager or issue the t-sql commandJack Vamvas--------------------http://www.ITjobfeed.com |
