Dear All,
i came to know that we need to clear four exams to get MCDBA.
m70-228
m70-229

are related to sqlserver, and there are two more tests for windows server 2003.

i came to know that 70-228 and 70-229 will be retired Mar31, 2009.
so what is the other way to get? MCDBA is only for sql server 2000? or it is there for 2005 also? i'd like to go with 228 and 229. please guide me in this regard

MCDBA is deprecated. its successor is the MCITP. you can get your MCDBA upgraded to MCITP:DBA.

Right now, my whole life has to revolve around this until I pass my 70-431 certificate - MCTS SQL Server 2005 Implementation & Maintenance. Then I can carry on and proceed with life, with a better job and more money. Not sure if I can just go take the exam, or do a hardcore training boot camp, which I can't afford.

Anyway, I posted this in the SQL Server Other forum... sorry
