Hello,

I have some records in the table having the word 'DPW.GE' in the column included in full text search index.

When I search for just 'DPW' then those records with 'DPW.GE' value are returned in the result set.

Why? I am not looking for 'DWP.GE', I am looking for 'DWP' only!

Thanks a lot

Dont't know much about full text indices. But I think the case you're describing is true for characters like #, ~, + etc, Had Heard it recently from an sql developer. Not sure if theres a way around it.
