we can set password for excelsheet
same way can we set password for mdf file in sql server

This is not an Excel forum, but if you look for password in the Excel Help I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

in my application we are giving MDF and LDf to client, he may open and see the the all the structors of table and some there,we want to lock to mdf it means he cant open the mdf
is it possible to do

Create a database user / role which has the restricted rights you want to give him. Then he will have only access to what you give him.
