Hello people,

OK, here is what I have and what I've learn so far.
I have a server with win2000 server that I run from home via the cable modem(I tried linux but all I got was frustration).
I learned Perl5.
I have msaccess (which I don't know much about it)

I've just read 3 different SQL tutorials and none of them is telling where to implement those commands. Is it in the Perl scripts? html documents? do I need another piece of software again?

Thanks for your time

For SQL Server, there is a utility called Query Analyzer that allows you to run queries. MS Access has its own built-in query designer, you can switch views to enter SQL commands directly. No Perl or HTML is required.

If you want to create web pages that query the database, you'll need to use ASP or PHP to execute commands against the databas and retrieve the data. The PHP home page is a good start:

http://www.php.net/

And the following will get you started on ASP:
