Hi guys I have a quick question, I was wondering wouldnt it be better to have a Primary File and a Secondary File for your databases?? like have the MDF in the Primary and the LDF in the Secondary file??

You can't place log file in FG . You can spread data files across separate FG across separate disks reduce IO contension issue.
