 Can we decide what columns to display dynamically?

it's sql server 2000 question.
I have a Sales reporting table that looks like this below.

product SF LA NY SD DL
------- --- -- --- -- --
Bicycles 54 34 0 90 33
T-Shirts 39 54 0 94 93
Lap-top 69 92 0 29 92

I don't want to display the columns that didn't create any sale.
For instance, the column NY shouldn't display.

Handle this in your application rather than in SQL.

give a column expression for visibility of column cell in your reporting application
