Here is my situation. I have just been given a SQL Server 2000 db that had to be restored from tape after a hardware failure. The db subscribes to a number of publications on a SQL Server 2005 db.

The subscriptions (which are pull subscriptions) are not running. How do I get them running?

What are the errors? Check Replication Monitor. Are the jobs running or in a failure state?

They say they have never run.

You can try kicking them off or restart the agent. You might have to rebuild replication though.
