hi all.......
i am here to gain some knowledge about using indexing in sql..

what type of indexing should be used if database consist of few records and what indexing should be done while dealing with large database???
any other information about indexes is also welcome....

If there are hardly any rows in a table, then you can probably just use a clustered index. On a large database, you'd have multiple indexes on the larger tables. How the indexes are configured depends upon the queries and the workload.

Clustered Index:-

Clustered indexes sort and store the data rows in the table or view based on their key values. These are the columns included in the index definition. There can be only one clustered index per table, because the data rows themselves can be sorted in only one order.
