Analysis Services (server) and Reporting Services.
This sub - group is called Analysis Server and reporting Services. Can anyone explain in simple terms the difference between the two.

Is Analysis services much more complex, where can I learn about it?

One is for reports, the other is for data warehouse/OLAP. Data warehousing is a much more complex topic than reports.

Thanks
but I'm guessing they are related in some way becasue they are in the same sub- (i.e. a tool used within data warehousing)

I really do appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions Tara..

They aren't related. They are completely different technologies.
