Hi,We have a scenario where we have seperate table for each region and each table contains 10 million records. Totally 7 regions and tables. Now we have thought of combining it into one single table and partition the table based on region using list partitioning. So as of now the table will contain 70 million records after partitioning and it's expected to grow. Will this approach works and will there be any performance issue becuase of this new approach.Let me know your suggestionsThanks in advance.

nope. not any performance issues. you can even create indexes on partitions where queries fire frequently to speed up performance further.

Samurai_warrior,You need Enterprise Edition for Table Partitioning. You can archive old history to different partition with switch in/out.There is really good Whitepaper on it.Search for it.
