I am having syntax problems with setting the "autocommit"

begin

Set autocommit off

insert into ZyTax.dbo.jtable(
                             report_state, report_year, ........
select                       ztadds,  ztyear, ..........

commit

end

Error:

Msg 195, Level 15, State 5, Line 1
'AUTOCOMMIT' is not a recognized SET option.

as said by error message there's no server setting like AUTOCOMMIT.
