| I went to check my backup and noticed that it did not run over the weekend. I checked my error log and it states that SQL server agent is not running...has the red circle on it. Should I manually restart that? I don't know where else to begin looking. I did also see that "the local host server is not running" and the SQL server agent terminated (normally).....Can anyone please tell me what I should maybe do or look for? Sorry I am new to this. I am using a sql2005 server |

| I checked event viewer and since I am so new to this I don't know. The warnings I get on the sql server are licensing replication couldn't be started because couldn't reach the license logging on the domain. The SQL server error log states: SQLVDI; Loc=cvds:cleanup. Errorcode 288 attempt to release mutex not owned by caller.I also have login failed for user "xx" |
