I'm having a problem with monitoring, i'm trying to do a monitor via the windows managment performance tool and when i'm trying to add a counter there is no sql server instance available in the list, however ssis etc all appear is there something else i need to install to get the to appear.

if u install sql server it will automatically appear.
i believe there is nothing else to be installed.

Thats the problem i've install the developer version on the machine and for some reason I'm unable to get these up in the perfomance area....I will keep googling but thanks for the response
