I am doing an SQL database backup in server management express. When I right click on the database
i go to tasks > backup. when i try to add a backup destination I don't see my complete C: drive directory.
I can even create a new folder in program files since program files does show up, but the new folder doesn't show.
Any ideas?

Thanks

You probably just need to close the backup GUI and reopen it. I would assume you created the folder while the GUI screen was up, so it just needs to be "refreshed".

Alternatively, you could just type in the path you want to use.

I have tried both before. Like I said it seems to be picking and chosing which folders it is showing, even under a directory it does show like progam files
