 how to replace the -ve value into zero

hai, is ther any way, to replace the negative value to zero in the sql query.
i have some sum query, after sum up, i subtract from another number, sometimes, it become -ve value.if it is -ve value i want to make it as zero.
is there any way?

use CASE expression.
