Using SQL server 2005 32 bit standard edition 32 bit. When I right click on Management -> Maintenance plan the only option i get is refresh. There is no option to create New. This is on a site that was not installed by me.I read on internet pre SP2 you need SSIS. So I installed SP2 and restarted (9.0.3042) but still cannot add new maintenance plan. I set sql server agent to autostart but it is also not showing in management studio. |

Found problem. SQL server 2005 express was used instead of sql server 2005 client tools to connect to database engine that is 2005 standard. |
