1. It has HTML capability (it can read HTML data fields)2. You can now export to PDF, Word, XLS, as well as other formats3. Interface upgrade - easier to use and looks better4. Can't think of another oneIt isn't without its limitations, but it has been very nice to use. |

4) SSRS 2008 now allows you to format text within a single textbox with different formatting. That is, think of a large block of text, such as a disclaimer. In SSRS 2008, you can selectively bold or italicize words. Don't forget that it no longer requires IIS! This makes deployment MUCH simpler. |

Can anyone let me know our business has SSRS 2005 on our server and the vendor is creating the report in 2008 for us. Does it make any difference when we put this finished SSRS 2008 report from our vendor on our SSRS2005 server and run it or rendered or publish. Let me know any issues or comments soon.
