| Error:: Timeout Expired:The Timeout period elapse prior to completion of the operation or the server is not respondingUnable to connect to the remote server.i have a windows application developed in Vs2005 and Sql Server 2005The server is in one city and the clients are in the other city connected through LAN.When the application is used by the clients in the same city as the server it works fine..But when the clients in the other cities use the application it gives the Error Mentioned Kindly Help its Urgent.P.S i have set the Command Timeout =0 |

| are you using linked server? or are you trying to connect using connection key? are you able to launch query analyser and try executing query there? |
