This is a complicated topic where there is no one answer. It comes down to SLA's of the business and what they can afford. The cost goes up exponentially as the "recovery time" goes down. So companies need to strike a balance somewhere in the middle where they allow some more RTO to lower the cost. You can start from Log shipping (least expensive) to SAN Replication (most expensive that I have seen so far).Dinakar Nethi************************Life is short.
