| Hi,Please help, I am trying to configure a SQL server. Currently I have:C:(raid1) = OSD:(raid1) =Ldfs, transaction logs, tempdb and logs.e:(SAN Raid 10) = Database mdfs.I would like to have another drive to just contain the tempdb but I don't have that choice. This database is read\write intensive.Please help.Thanks |

| since you don't have that choice, i'd put templog on the log drive and tempdev on the data drive |

| Why do we do that? Because it answered his question, and gave him a ton of links to choose from, rather than give him something off the top of my head.
