| I got Master Degree in computer science in 2001 from Lahore after that I had taken admission in Oracle 8 DBA and completed my certification, but unluckily I couldn't get any DBA job. I wasted a lot of my time in other jobs now I want to get back in IT field again. One of my friend suggested me to learn SQL SERVER. I need your suggestions in this regard that shall I do SQL SERVER Course, if so which version and how should I prepare it, either my self or from some college. Thanks in advance.saif!!! |

| Regarding what version, Its best to go with the latest which is 2008. Though many companies are yet to deploy or support it.Regarding IT jobs, the recession has done a lot of damage in many areas. 2-3 years ago in the UK IT jobs were hot cake esp contracts, but now its almost gone with the wind. Its either you go with DBA or developer, normally as a developer, you should have extra experience with a frontend language |
