hello,
(dont laugh)
our sa password wont work anymore, i cant explain this. while making a backup of a database there must have happened sth.
so:
- what category is this ? (doesnt matter, critical, fatal, disaster)
- is there any way to restore this password?
- can i give sa a new one ?

would be nice to get some positive feedback
regards

I thought login directly to the box as admin connect then to sql server via windows authentication and then you should have the right to set the sa-pwd...

Trying to translate
Each existing "step" which uses SA-Account to connect to the server (maybe in some SSIS packages) is to change to use the new PWD. You will find that steps at latest when they are crashing.
