In SS 2005, in order to get the Report Manager page to show the "administrators" functionality on a Vista system, you had to run I/E "as administrator". Not sure if this is the same with SS 2008. I tried installing SS2008 Developers onmy laptop and it failed to install.Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. |

I have the same issue as the original poster using SQL Reporting 2008 Developer Edition on Vista 64 Home Premium. I am logging in the report services as admin user and I do not see any of the configuration options. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Still Waters,Great Photos |

I've had exactly the same problem for over a week with 2008 Developer Edition, using Win XP Pro, SP3. Just one HOMEUSER domain, Administrator... IIS up & running fine. SSRS config is all OK. Server and ReportServer database are fine - service is running. SSMS connects to the server and database. The Web Service and Report Manager URLs are set up by default values. When clicking on these, they fail to work. Creating reports are fine in Visual Studio, but the web side is a mess, giving errors like a .com enterprise just went out of business... |
