In case of system crash...do we need system databases backups also for recovery. I am kind of new to SQL. Thanks in advance

It depends. If you've completely lost the server and want to recover logins, SQL jobs, and anything else stored in the system databases, then yes.

In our case, we can probably get this information from other servers so it might not be needed.

One question: System db's restoring process is same as user db? or is there anything else we need to perform to restore system db's.

No it's not the same. Check BOL for details.
