Hello Everyone
I have just got a Macbook. I want to install SQL Server 2005 on my MacBook. What should I do and what is the best? Should I use some VMware or do it from Bootstaps? I would highly appreciate if anyone could tell me the best way to do so and how I can do it.

Thanks

whoa

wouldn't that be cool

did you google it

I guess you'd have to run the window's thingee on Mac, but I'm sure a whole slew of things would be painful

What you don't like W7?

How about this?

I run WinXP on VMWare Fusion 2.0, it's smooth as silk. SQL Server, SSMS and Visual Studio work very nicely. I haven't tried it with VirtualBox yet but the latest version (3.x something) is a lot smoother and less resource intensive than 2.0 was, and it's 100% free. VMWare just released v3.0 of Fusion too.

I was using Win2008 and XP on Boot Camp for a while but the trackpad drivers didn't work as well as they did with Fusion. The only reason I'd go with Boot Camp is if I wanted to play games that need full use of the graphics card. The video support under VM is not that great, at least with the 2.0 versions.
