I don't see a forum for this, so I post here

Can we istall SQL Server express on a SQL Server box running SQL 200 and SQL 2005 instances?

I assume it's SQL Server 2005 Express

Yes you can, it would just be another named SQL instance.

Thanks..that's what I thought

I tried however to install 2008 express on my laptop with 2005 express, and it said it wasn't compatablie and that I had to unistall express 2k5

Only problem is, I don't know how to unistall it...it wasn't in add/remove programs
