Someone is selling what looks to be an unused copy of SQL Server 2000 (5 client access licenses, includes service pack 3a).He's not positive that it's never been used though.Does it require activation?Any way to find out if it's been used/activated?ThanksTony |

I once did a google search and came up with a similar search as you have, so i called microsoft, who said he might be authentic and he might just not be.... the gamble is mine and MS wont get involved. ... So i bought from an approved vendor, but unfortunately, i bought the wrong version.... MS didnt give me a refund, or instruct the company ( who refused to refund it, 'cos i had broken the seal )... So i called a client, and luckily they were looking to purchase and upgrade from 2000 to 2008, so i resold it to them.the rep i spoke to in MS, said i should try and resell it in a car boot sale ( which was quite rude )I eventually got a lease subscription from an approved reseller. |
