I am trying to run an update script and it gives me the error message multi-part identifier could not be bound?

-sql-
UPDATE [tblCarrierProbyLoad]
SET [tblShipments].[carrier_pro_number]=[tblCarrierProbyLoad].[Carrier_Pro]
FROM [tblCarrierProbyLoad]
INNER JOIN [tblShipments]
ON ([tblCarrierProbyLoad].[load]=[tblShipments].[Load Id])

I thought this was formatted correctly and all of the tables exist?

[code]
UPDATE [tblCarrierProbyLoad]
SET [Carrier_Pro]= [tblShipments].[carrier_pro_number]FROM [tblCarrierProbyLoad]
INNER JOIN [tblShipments]
ON ([tblCarrierProbyLoad].[load]=[tblShipments].[Load Id])
[/code]
