hi all,

I have a table named dbo.FIS_Degree in a DB by mistake a person has deleted a
column from the table now i want to take back up of the table...
i dont have an idea how to do the back up . can any one help from scratch for that

you cant restore a table alone. you need to restore entire db.
Alternative is to restore as a new copy and copy column values alone to your table.

First: what you want to do isn't a backup - it is a restore from a previous done backup.

So do you have backups of your database?
If yes - how old are they?

:( what can do.... the table from which the column is deleted wont make a problem for me now... because it is having less no of data but... if it happens to table which contains more dat it will be problem ... so i have to take precaution for that.. webfred what shd i do ..whole DB should take backup in specific period ????

Yes you should.
Look in google for backup strategies.
