Can anyone highlight the main differences between SRS 2005 and 2008? We are currently using SRS 2005 but have plans to upgrade to 2008 sometime in the future. I am going to be taking some classes in SRS and was wondering if I should take the 2005 class or just skip to the 2008 class. In other words, will my newly acquired knowledge of SRS 2008 be backwards compatible to SRS 2005?Any advice would be appreciated,Thanks!Julia C. There are some differences with Visual Studio 2008 vs. 2005 but nothing major. There are likely more features avail. in 2008. I would take 2008 classes in your case. The basics are the same tho. I came from a completely different background (IBM AS.400 ) and was able to pick this stuff up, so you should be fine. |
