| Learn database design theory from conceptual , logical to physical implementation on sql server 2005.also learn sql in general and t-sql in particular.do some projects and a lot of practice so that you are exposed to many scenarios.You can receive a good practice in SQL queries on SQL Exercises site(http://www.sql-ex.ru), where SS2005 is used.Also for a starter you can read "SQL Server 2005 for Dummies".Make sure you download the Express edition which is free from http://www.microsoft.com/Sqlserver/2005/en/us/express.aspxPBUH |
