How can i compare two XML strings. Is there any simple method

Ex:

XML1:

<Employee>
<Id>1</Id>
<Name>xxx</Name>
<Marks1>70</Marks1>
<Marks2 />
</Employee>

XML2:

<Employee>
<Id>1</Id>
<Name>xxx</Name>
<Marks1>70</Marks1>
<Marks2>80</Marks2>
</Employee>

I wanna do auditlog for this. How can i do this.

Kindly help me.
