How would I query the INFORMATION_SCHEMA views to find out attributes of an index or constraint? For example, how would I find out if the index/constraint is clustered versus nonclustered?

indexes and clustered/no clustered attributes are not part of information_schema as there are no such concepts in the standard.

You have to use system tables.

There's also sp_help and sp_helpindex.
