Hi,

i have a project that starts in 5th April 2010 ending july 2010

records are written to msSQL with dates starting 05/04/2010 (dd/mm/yyyy, UK date format) to the end of the project.

over the period of the project i need to report on number of records since begining of the project(05/04/2010) by week where week 1 starts 05/04/2010.

I thought of using datepart(wk, dateofrecord) but datepart(wk,..) starts in jan.

how can i get the week of a record by defining when week 1 starts?

hope someone can help.
