I have been thrown into the deep end without a rope or life preserver!

I know nearly nothing about programming. I inherited a database and have been running the existing jobs on a daily basis.

I need to make a change, but before I do I would like to copy the existing SQL Server Agent Job to a new name, make changes there and be able to delete it if I blow it up.

Knowing nothing about the programming, how can I copy an existing job? (I am running SQL Server Enterprise Manager 2005)

Thank you for your patience and assistance!!!

Expand the jobs in SSMS, and then right click to script it out. Save that script and run it if you need to recreate it.
