Hello Everyone,I'm very new to SQL Server and I have a question regarding triggers and or reporting services. I work for a call center and I would like to know if a certain account is calling more frequently than normal, so that I can notify the parent company, sales rep, etc. Is there anyway to do this with a trigger or SSRS? I can't think of a way to write a trigger based on frequency.

You haven't really provided enough information to give a good answer here...but I'm pretty sure a trigger isn't the method you're looking for. Do you keep records of every call made?- LumbagoMy blog (yes, I have a blog now! just not that much content yet) -> www.thefirstsql.com

Sounds like you just need a table capturing call details and then you need to group on accountid and take count of calls and select one with maximum count. so its just grouping that you want to do------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/
