| Hey guys I backed up a DB this morning as normalRight click on DB - Tasks - Backup Databasewith all the normal stuff checked but just noticed it saved it as a .trn.Can I use this to restore the DB normally they are saved as .BAK |

Filename / extension is not important - you can call it whatever you like  - but maybe what actually happened is that you clicked TLog backup, rather than Full backup by mistake? |
