how to resolve the problem using identity ??
suppose m using identity in my table and if i delete one of the record then it inserts values from the next record
so,how to resume the records.
ex:
if i delete the 3 record and again i want to insert values from 3rd record so ,how should i tackle such problem ??
could anyone provide me any solution for this???

you need to use setting
SET IDENTITY_INSERT ON

and insert value explicitly as 3
but question is why should you worry on this?
you can still retrieve records in correct order in spite of gaps
