time out with a query

Hi,

I am running a query on server 2005 that runs on a table containing large data. After some time,it shows"time out" and the query fails to execute. How to increase time out on this query.

I wouldn't recommend changing the timeout value just to avoid an error, unless the query is fully optimized already and is still long running. Instead, I'd do check out your other topic here and check if you are missing indexes. I'd also start updating stats more frequently. Once a year is pointless and disastrous.
