| Hi friends,I'm attaching mdf & ldf files on my sql server 2005 server using SSMS, but I get this following error.. Not sure whyThe database '....MDF' cannot be opened because it is version 661. This server supports version 655 and earlier. A downgrade path is not supported. Our client is also using sql server 2005 and they took a backup of the files from SSMS.. Will it work if they send us a logical backup of the database?Any suggestions please.. thanks |

| Your client has SQL Server 2008 and has used this to do the backup. This can not be downgraded as it writes to the system tables. |
