I have just installed SQL Server 2008. In 2005 I could right click on a table, display the results and then open the design pane with the table (I could add other tables) enter criteria in the query grid below and run it to see the results.
How do I do this in 2008 ? If I click on the table, click new query, r/h click and select design query in edit i can do this (sort of) but when I run it the table vanishes and my grid with my fields and just the sql is displayed - and the results below.

How can I use it like 2005 ? This 2008 method seems time consuming and not user friendly at all - or have I missed something ?

I found it - you have r/h click table and select edit all rows. r/h click in thepane where the table is and you have th eoption to add panes and result keeps the table, criteria etc.
