Hello,
I am getting following error for all my sql scripts when I want to see Estimated Execution Plan.

"An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: Error processing execution plan results. The error message is:
The type initializer for 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlMgmt.ShowPlan.XmlPlanNodeBuilder' threw an exception.
Configuration system failed to initialize"

I am running following SQL server express;
and just 1 hour ago I installed Service Pack 4.

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 10.0.1600.22 ((SQL_PreRelease).080709-1414 )
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255)
Microsoft MSXML 3.0 5.0 6.0
Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0.7600.16385
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.50727.4952
Operating System 6.1.7600

It was running 2 weeks ago and when I check today I am getting this problem,

is there any fix for it?

Thanks.

Did you also upgrade the tools on your local machine to same service pack?
