hello,

Can anyone help. The setting FMTONLY is supoosed to return the Meta schema from the SP Instead of the result set. The problem is that if the SP has a temporary table swiching FMTONLY on will create an error
"Invalid Object name #temptable". Is there any way round this ?

Thanks

Yes, you can use:

SELECT TOP 0 * FROM #myTable

...or...

SELECT * FROM #myTable WHERE 1=2

No, I don't think so. Best thing to do is just turn it on if you want it on, and off if you want it off.
