Hai,

Unfortunately I can’t install the MsSql 2000 Standard Edition or Personal Edition in both Win Me or Win 98. I need to know the basic information about insert, update, delete, rollback, commit, alter. I plan to create a sample database and done this now. Because of installation problem I can’t done it. And I have very less timing.

I know the basic uses and functions of these commands. But I didn’t used it practically. Kindly give me the sample query for all. And if its possible kindly show me give me the query which will update both the Master and Child table at the same time it would help me more. And also give me the link to the basic of MsSql Server.

Thank you,
Chock.

All of your answers are in SQL Server Books Online. You probably shouldn't be interviewing for this position without this knowledge. Why waste your and their time?

And you expect to acquire it.....when?

Reminds of a story...

Needed a third party (or as deemed by the top brass)...oversees contractor...

Needed a SQL Server App DBA....

Got someone who knew Access...close enough...

Sorry...God I hate Mondays....
