hi,I have never used access, a friend of mine has asked me to review a pilot database for him. I wanted to know are there any specific points to be considered when designing for access. Thanks & Regards,Harshal. He is a fool for five minutes who asks , but who does not ask remains a fool for life! |

Just a few weeks ago, I was asking the same questions. You have come to the right place for answers. About.com has some great, very easy to understand tutorials on database design in Access.http://databases.about.com/cs/tutorials/If that's not enough for you, check out the Database Design section of this site, the link below is for the table design section which I think is most applicable to Access, i.e. data normalization.http://www.sqlteam.com/filtertopics.asp?topicID=129 |
