| Be sure to read the BOL entry for ALTER DATABASE before you do this because there's a nice long list of caveats that starts out with Before you apply a different or new collation to a database, ensure the following conditions are in place:Also, this only applies to SQL 2000. If you're on SQL 7, the collation applies to the entire server, not individual DB's. To change that requires rebuilding master. |
