Would anyone see it important to have the job done by RS rather than Crystal Reports?

That's just the gratuity. I let all my clients know that a 15% tip will be added for all projects over $1,000.

Ask for a $50,000 retainer, and bill against retainer at $400/hr.

It depends on how desperate they are, ie how long time until project deadline.

I've had clients that willingly paid $4000 for three hours of work, because they needed to get the job done by that evening.
Some clients will not even pay $20 per hour for DBA maintenance.

I agree with that on short stint of projects and desperate needs. But usually when the project is longer, i thought the rates will be less.

Thanks
